alrights, im so so looking forward to tomorrow(er, i mean today). HA!anyways, it's all because i'll be going for the national day parade live! haha! my aunt got 4 tickets and so im included! lol! i can't wait. it will be my first time at the floating platform. YAY! =D im going to be so crazily high tmr. heh heh!

yea, with the backdrop of excitement and anticipation for the NDP'08 and the opening of the Beijing Olympics, first week of uni has ended. yes.i've got all my notes for my units im taking this year. all i can see is serious mugging ahead of me.lol become a total isolated nerd. haha! jk la, obviously not la. i can't possibly survive this kind of life. im still deciding on my cca,so yea, sooner or later i will be more in touch with this whole new environment.

well, more on the units, im taking IBM, PSOC, ECONS, MATHS, STATS this sem. yeah, and the hardest unit in my opinion is IBM. and the lecturer that i feel is the best is my IBM lecturer. haha! what irony right? well, im reallylucky to get such a good lecturer for a unit that i feel is difficult and i having a higher tendency to show dislike over time. yeah, sociology was like gp but a much higher and demanding level la. which is also bad news. haha! econs was surprisingly quite good and fun. maths was totally nothing to say. well, i was trying very hard to strain my ears o listen to what the lecturer was saying the whole time. and most of the time, sound waves from the lecturer was interfered with the constant rustling of notes.

okae, had dinner with my cousins and uncles and aunties yesterday,to celebrate my cousin's bday which falls on national day. so unfair la. his bday always got fireworks. soi asked him to get fireworks for me on my bday also. hahaha! and he looked at me like that, O.O. haha! okae, im asking for too much.lol anyway, the 8 of us went to this super high class restuarant at Marina @ Kepple Bay on Kepple Island. it'sr eally wow alright. when i walked arnd there, i saw many private yatchs parked in their lots on the waters. WOW. haha! for the rich.people were dressed formal and really nicely, well, most of them la. anyways,we ate at prive, on of the restuarants there. it was not bad. but that'sforthe exception of the soup i ordered. i ordered cold oyster and shellfish gelee soup. and it was freaking salty and itwas cold.well, cold was still alright but it was salty to the MAX. OMG,i couldn't even continue drinking. so i had to ask for a change to mushroom soup. yea, i had trout for dinner. wanted to order the steak but when i saw the price, i changed my mind. my uncle was treating so it wasn'tthat nice la. but my cousin ate the steak and i kop-ed some. hahaha! well, he offered wad.haha! anyway, we asked for the steak to be medium well.i always have it that way for mine so i recommended my cousin la since he always kuku eat well done.haha! and the steak came rather bloody.lol! and my cousin sort of like HUH?! why like that? so i said it's not yet medium well la.obviously right?lol so we had to ask for the chef to cook it a little more. haha! and it came nice and tender and not bloody. haha! and when the bill came, it was also very nice. apparently it amounted up to 547 bucks in total. freaking ex. the water we drank costs 30 bucks in total. and it's still water not sparkling alright! some fiji brand of bottled water. siao, 10 bucks for 1litre. SIAO. anyways, it's a one time thing so it doesn't matter la. but i seriously give 2 thumbs up to their service. EXCELLENT i tell you.
then we went over to their cafe area to have coffee and desert while soaking in the senery. we were literally on an island. haha!and my uncle was joking saying we brought my cousin overseas for his bday celebration. lol. crappy. but anyways,i heard this island was keppel shipyard in the past.haha! so cool.

yes, and i caught the olympics opening.haha! it was seriously excellent. i could say i enjoyed it more than the previous on in athens. they really did a great job despite the many controversies. another plus point would be they had many close ups on nadal and federer. hahaha! =D i like.

oh yeah, im finally going to have my first pract driving lesson next thurs. haha! FINALLY, after dragging for so so long.LOL! well, i think my private instructor is going to be fun. =) he was really funny when i spoke to him yesterday. and what's going to be funny is that he speaks chinese, and mine sucks. haha! but im going to force him to speak english. HEH HEH!
