The Adventures of Wu Zhou Zhou, Bak Zham Qai and Mao Mao.Day 4, 9th July 2008 Wednesday.Woke up earlier at 0840 today because of our packed intinery. We've got new places to explore and shop after discussing with my uncle and aunty yest, so waking up earlier is a MUST.
After the good rest yest, we are sort of more energetic in the early morning. It's another day of war again!
This is my friend, she looks cold. hahaha!
Our first stop is to get to Yuen Long. got to change train at MeiFoo. It's a long ride and it gets more mountainous as we approach cos Yuen Long is more rural.
Finally we reached after super long, and it's all for our famous LAO PO BING!
But we are still not there yet. got to take the light rail to the place where the lao po bing is located. and we had to figure out the light rail map which was super complicated.
Finally at the famous store selling delicious and freshly baked Lao Po Bing. HAN HEUNG LAO BING JIA.
After we bought our food stuffs, we headed arnd the corner to a cha chan ting to have our breakfast. and that was an important meal cos it gave us energy to fight the war ahead of us. after we finished eating, it was pouring like crazy outside. so i had to share the little small black umbrella with des cos mine was lost rmb. yea.. and we were fighting through the crowds of people also carrying umbrellas but bigger and more powerful than ours. while fighting our way through to get to the light rail, those kiasu aunties keep pouring the rainwater all over me and des kept moving away without me, so i kept shouting after her.we were making so much noise and laughing at the same time. when we made it to the light rail, we were drenched.well, i was drenched more cos that stupid quek abandoned me in the mob of crazy aunties pouring rainwater all over me. so we went back to the hotel to put down our food stuffs first before going out again to shop. plus we had to dry ourselves first because it was super cold.
Then our next stop was causeway bay, but a different part. shopped arnd then went to sogo to get our almond biscuits.
After that we went to take the electric bus down to Wan Chai. had to figure out which direction though. haha!
We tried to take a photo of our driver but it was an uphill task as the bus was super crammed and shaking non-stop.
Walked arnd the street markets at WanChai then we found KFC.haha! so being tired and hungry, we went to try the HK STYLE KFC. they serve rice instead of the whipped potato.and they have a new flavour, pepper lime. NOT BAD.=)
After WanChai we went to admiralty to shop arnd but found out that the shops there sells expensive stuffs so we decided to head to the PEAK at central. mtr-ed down to Central and walked to the peak tram. We passed Bank Of China. i like the building design.=)fav. and it's a really long way..we're dying already even before we reach the peak.
And we arrived. dead tired. had to pay for our tickets. bought the package for the tram, wax museum and sky terrace. and because we were so tired, we had problems settling our accounts that night.hahaha!all because of this payment for our tickets.hahaha!

Onboard the tram, all ready and excitedto go.
We were really tickled by the fact that we were 45 degrees to the ground. look at how the man is standing to keep himself from falling. hilarious.

We headed for the wax museum first. i didn'tupload allthe photos here cos there's really alot, if you wanna see all can go sze's blog to see. look at my perverted friends. sze was trying to change the hair parting of deng xiao ping after that photo. saw hitler and our fav physics pro.
Stupid Yao Ming so tall for what. and i think rolnadhino's pose was funny, so i copied him.

Went up to the sky terrace and it was raining!! oh man, of all times..saded.. but the view was still alright la. super cold up there though. and i wun wanna stay so high up.haha! it's crazy.
Introducing my ah soh friend, desiree quek! she's modeling for the ah soh association on the peak. and that's us pathetically holding unbrellas..
Pardon my ah soh friend, she's going through the ah soh depression syndrome.
Headed down to Central again and decided to take the star ferry back to TST. it's like super cheap,only HK$2.20. That's a really long bridge leading to the pier.
and i spotted my fav building! it's like almost invisible at night.
Finally at the Central Pier. there was alot of people waitingat the gate.and when it opened it was like there's a sale in front.everyone was chiong-ing down to the ferry. siao. andwe saw superstar virgo there also.
Since we were exuasted and terribly hungry, we went over to Hardrock Cafe for our dinner since it was nearby and our foodfund still had alot of money left. Hk's Hardrock cafe is cheaper than sg's and they have almost the same food.
After our dinner, we went to get some desserts for our supper.walked over to a chinese restuarant and had takeaway. when we came back to our hotel, we saw that someone left us a msg. we were laughing at it when we saw it.
Then at 2219, it's time for our soak-our-tired-feet session. i was happy, sze was happy, des was complaining that the water was too hot. and we were playing dai dee at the same time and enjoying our juice and vitasoy.
After that, we took turns to bath then we laid all our loot on the bed and take a photo of them. so our brave hero sze had to risk breaking her legs to climb behind the tv to get a better camera view.
After that, we packed up our luaggage cos we will be checking out tmr morning. then we sat down and had our dessert. Black sesame paste, coconut jelly like chee chiong fun with fruits and tofu with fruits. it tasted alright only, nothing fantastic except the fact that they can't be found in singapore. after that was sleeping time! our last night in that room and my last night having to sleep with a snoring ostrich/flamingo beside me.
