Day 2, 7th July 2008 Monday.
We woke up at arnd going to 0900. Was supposed to be awake by 0830 but the five stations the day before totally knocked us out. yeah, we took a shot first before leaving our hideout and headed to TST Mrt to train down to Tsing Yi. Had wanted to take a ferry to Macau but since it's raining, we decided to go to those shopping malls that were sheltered from the mtr so we won't get wet. yeah, first stop, Tsing Yi, it's also our breakfast destination. yeah, and maps are our must haves cos we've nv been to that part of hk before. that's us below trying to navigate our way arnd. =)
We've decided to settle our breakfast here. A popular eatery in hk. Well, from what we learnt the day before, we've decided that hk-ers speak more eng than chinese(or what they call pu tong hua) so we decided to be abit more angmo.haha! and it seems we still had trouble getting what we wanted.haha!it's considered pathetic cos we were practically speaking part canto, eng, chi and even pointing to the big menu.yeah, in the end the counter staffs were amused by us. This is what we got. 3 diff sets of food, ham and eggs, chicken patty and eggs, fish fillet and eggs. oh yes, the bread they gave was wow-ly nice. i like.=) but the nai cha was a little weird with a taste like what des said, red bean taste.haha! but it was still alright la. overall, it was a nice and filling breakfast enough to satisfy 3 hungry and grouchy monsters in the morning.

Yes, that's where we are, Tsing Yi Cheng shopping mall. and we went to their supermarket there. it's sort of like a jap supermart and we found many many glass bottled coke and sprite. OH YES! and we bought kinder surprise eggs for our supper tonight.haha! they aren't selling in sg anymore so we're really excited to see it there.

Walked over to Dragon Centre for more shopping. it's has like many small shops inside and an ice skating ring with MANY STUDENTS skating WITH uniforms inside. and that's like only early afternoon. and we always wonder why kids and adults are seen outside, everywhere at all times of the day.it's like as if they don't have school or work.
Then we walked over to this street for some street shopping then mtr-ed down to our next stop, Jordan. and our energy level is going down. BOO~
And so as what always happens, when we are tired, it's food time. randomly went to a cha chan ting cos the aunty was being so enthu and welcoming us, even kicking one of her regular customers to sit with another so that we could have the seat.haha! she's that enthu, but not for long. until she saw us taking photo of her red menu, she looked at us suspiciously like as if we wanna copy la.lol. but when it comes to odering our food, all is well again as she realised we are not locals.haha! and we got what we ordered, bo lou pao, gong zhai mian with luncheon meat and ham, one hot nai cha and two ice lemon tea. it's really nice. esp the ice lemon tea and bo lou pao.And we got one of the funny ah sohs helpers there to snap a photo of US, satisfied once again. and hk-ers always gets amused by us when try to entertain them with our broken canto. well, we're singaporeans wad..it's a fact that we speak a mixture of languages in a sentence.
RECHARGED and ready to go! hahaha.okae lame. we're walking towards Temple Street Night Market.and luckly we went there in the day cos i wun wanna go there in the night. it's rowdy and has some red light districts there in the area also. we left quickly after walking arnd and decided to leave for our next destination.
Mtr-ed down to Causeway Bay and reached there at arnd going to 1700. headed over to Times Square through the long and upslope underpass that seemed never ending. that's my kiasu friend wanting to take a pic with the famous clock tower.
TIME CHECK: 2000. Dinner time @ Crystal Jade Xiao Long Bao.well, actually we supposed to be eating later cos there's actually a long queue outside to the extent of having queue numbers, but for some reason, when we went up to register, we were asked how many seats.so we said 3 la. and they led us in straight like that. and all three of us were like HUH?? haha! but we just kept our mouths shut and followed.haha! and all the other customers waiting outside were in total shock.haha! it was quite funny. but anyway it's notour fault wad.hahaha!

After eating, we walked arnd and saw roxy and quiksilver with this entrance. we stood there for awhile thinking whether we should believe what the sign said to go up to the 3rd level to the store. in the end we went.haha! scary and dirty stairwell with an old aunty sweeping inside. and when we got up to the store, it's like you step out from the past and into a mordern world. haha! they have anice big balcony that overlooks the streets below. and we found another way out, through a cleaner and safer stairwell.lol.
And we're back on the streets again! =) 
we took a cab back when we walked a distance away from the Mtr and it was getting late. and another happening thing happened.haha! we happily got into a taxi queue and happily got into a cab and happily told the uncle nathan road in eng. and to our horror, he stared at us blankly and drove off. wah i tell you 3 of us were totally freaked out. it's like why is he ignoring ius? and just driving to i don't know where? and since we couldn't speak, we decided to point to our map right? yeah.. but still no response.then he pulled up at another road and askedus to get down, cross the road and take the other taxi. okae, i could vaguely understand what he was trying to say.and i realised that we got to the wrong taxi queue. he only drove in hk area and if we wanted to get over to kowloon area we got to join another taxi queue. and he had brought us to that queue. what a scare.BUT why couldn't he just say something earlier and not keep silent and scare us like that.lol. what rubbish driver. then another problem.haha! we saw that the first taxi in the queue having a sign saying that he wasn't in service.so we went to the second one, but the secondone ask us to go to the first one. yea.. so obediently we went,now smarter to ask first before we all got in.haha! lucky the driver knows a little eng and brought us all back to the hotel safely. and on the way, the second taxi driver called the first and asked him where we were going and why we went to the second one instead,so he replied that it was probably cos he had the sign up before and bla bla.. irritating..they spoke on the phone not realising that we could understand what they were talking abt. so were got back at arnd 0030, took turns to bathe and watch bean to entertain ourself. oh yeah, and i forgot to mention that that eyebrowless girl lost my weapon in the cab. -.-
our toys. wu zhou zhou's mouse and cheese, bak zham qai's car and my weird and funny looking dino whose head moves. and our supper.=) played taitee and of course not forgetting our daily accounts.everyday got problem.but thanks to my free finantial assistant it tallys in the end after much recalling and tracing back what happened to the money. =)
